Davidisms - Imitate Me as I Imitate Jesus

 The great Apostle Paul called on Christians in the church of Corinth to, “Imitate me as I imitate Christ” (1 Cor. 11:1). It’s a powerful adjuration for all Jesus followers.
 
 Note the order Paul gives. Jesus is the supreme example. The apostle Paul follows Jesus’s example. We are to follow the apostle’s example.
 
 Here’s why. Most people don’t pay much attention to what you say. But they do watch what you do. Thus the old adage, “Actions speak louder than words.”
 
 If you want people to love the Jesus you say you love, then live like the Jesus you say you love.
 
 Of course, you’ll never be able to perfectly imitate Jesus. No human can. But you can try. You can ask yourself what Jesus would do in certain situations, and then try to emulate him.
 
 This practice will have a powerful influence on your kids, friends and work associates, as well as everyone in your sphere of influence.
 
 In everything you say and everything you do, imitate Jesus.
