Davidisms - Rejection is God's Protection

The acid rain of rejection is one of life’s most painful feelings. We are born with a desire to love and be loved. To be rejected makes us wonder if we are lovable.
 
 But when we trust in God, we steadfastly believe that he is overseeing every aspect of our lives. And that he will use all things in our lives - both the good and the bad - for our good and his glory. Nothing is outside of God’s plan for those who love him, and are called according to his purpose (Rom 8:28).
 
 Therefore, when we experience rejection, we choose to trust God. We rest assured that what we consider rejection, was actually God’s protection over a particular situation or circumstance in our lives.
 
 Perhaps from someone we were dating and considering marrying. Or taking a new job only to quickly be let go. Or getting fired after many years on the job.
 
 Rejection happens for a myriad of reasons, but one thing remains the same: God is good. All the time. Even when rejection causes pain and suffering, God will bring beauty from ashes. He says so (Gen. 50:20).
 
 Trust that the rejection you may face is God’s protection from something worse.
 
 It’s God’s pathway to peace.
