Davidisms: Culture Always Trumps Vision

Without a vision, God’s people perish (Proverbs 29:18). It’s why vision is foundational to any church, company, or family.

But here’s the caveat: Culture always trumps vision.

Consider the influence of an organization’s culture on the people within it. A culture of unity is formed when people love one another and are connected in one spirit and purpose (Philippians 2:2). And when this culture is connected to a healthy vision, success will occur.

But when a culture is corroded, everything and everyone within it is tainted. The ship begins to sink, taking everyone down with it.

Leaders, come up with a Godly vision for your church, company or family. But more importantly, create a culture of Christ-like care.

And watch success occur!
