If you have come to faith in Jesus, you are a new creation. The old has passed away and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).

If you believe this to be true - which you must as a professing Christian - then your identity is found in Christ alone. You are a child of God. An adopted son or daughter of the King of the universe (Galatians 4:4). With royal blood pulsing through your veins (1 Peter 2:9).

Have you battled a disease? Been through a divorce? Fought an addiction? Faced heartbreaking betrayal? Here’s the good news: You are not what has happened to you. You are a child of God whose identity is in Christ alone!

It’s quite a reason to rejoice, isn’t it? We live forgiven and free as children of the Most High. This identity gives us new life. Hope. We are not victims of a broken world out of control. We are who God says we are!

This common identity unites us with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We become one family. A family that wants to share with others the freedom we’ve found.

Experience it now.

And triumph over any pain that attempts to encircle you. Today and forever.
