My Personal God - My Mighty Rock

The eternal God of the universe wants to be your close, personal friend. He longs for you to know Him as my Cup, my Lamp, my Savior. To become your personal God.

Your heavenly Daddy also wants you to call on Him as “my mighty rock” (Psalm 62:7).

Picture a giant boulder atop a majestic mountain. It’s stable. Strong. It looks down above all. That’s the mighty rock of God! A treasured, old hymn says it this way: “On Christ the mighty rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.”

When you know God as “my mighty rock,” you’ve experienced His deliverance. His protection. His unfailing strength. You run to His fortress refuge. You’ve personally encountered His stability and security. You stand on Him and have no fear.

Do you stand on the mighty rock of God? Pray to Him now: “Daddy, be my rock! Help me know You personally. Depend on You. Rely on You for everything I need. Help me build my life on You - my mighty rock!”

Build your life on the mighty rock of God.

When you do, your foundation is unshakeable.
