Different roots produce different fruits.  When your life is rooted in Jesus, the fruit you bear is His (Galatians 5:22-23).  It happens out of the overflow of Him in you.

Faithfulness is the seventh fruit of the Spirit.  Faithfulness describes God: He is faithful to us, and He always keeps His promises.  A synonym for faithfulness could be loyalty.

Faithful means keeping your word.  When you say you’re going to do something, you can be trusted to do it.  We can’t live in community and have justice unless people say what is true and keep their word.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. God is faithful to keep His promises to us.

A favorite old hymn “Great is Thy Faithfulness” was written from Lamentations 3:22:

Great is Thy faithfulness!  Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see;

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—

Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

As God is faithful to us, we are to be faithful to others. Faithfulness is the essence of healthy friendships, marriages, and all relationships.

Let your life be rooted completely in Jesus. Nothing can ever separate you from His faithful love.

When you do so, you will bear His fruit of faithfulness to those around you.
