Davidisms - Everything We Have is God's Gift to Us. How We Use Them is Our Gift to Him

Do you have a car? A home? A job? Money to pay your bills? A beating heart? Breathing lungs? Food to eat? If so, you should be bursting with thankfulness and gratitude. Because it’s all a gift from the Lord. Gratitude is one of the best ways to combat pride because it forces us to reflect on and recognize that every good gift is from our Father in heaven (James 1:17). Everything! The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it is his (Psalm 24:1). God’s gifts are irrevocable (Rom. 11:29). And they weren’t meant to be unwrapped and not used. They are given to us to expand his kingdom. To spread the gospel. To care for others. Don’t keep God’s gifts to yourself. Instead, use them for his glory! Because everything we have is God’s gift to us. And how we use them is our gift to him.
