“Seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1).

It’s God’s wisdom from above that can move us forward in life. Said another way: Greater elevation equals greater revelation.

When going through a difficult time, climb higher on God’s mountain. Try to breathe the rarified air of heaven’s grace. Gaze on the eternal rather than the temporal. Get his vision for what is happening.

Go higher and look down on your problems. From God’s perspective. Regard the world around you as God does.

When you do so, your problems become smaller. God’s presence gets greater. He starts to reveal things to you from his perspective. Truths you’d not seen before. How he’s working. How he’s unfolding his plan for your life.

Hope then fills you from within.

Because you’ve experienced that greater elevation brings greater revelation.

As you seek God’s point of view.
