Peace. It’s yet another Christmas gift from Jesus to our souls. What is the meaning of peace? Jesus’s kind of peace doesn’t mean the absence of conflict. Much to the contrary, Jesus’s peace is rooted in his eternal presence in our hearts. Jesus came to earth as the “Prince of Peace” (Isa. 9:6). He promises his peace to those who follow him (John 14:27). True peace - an inner rest of spirit and well-being - is God’s gift to us through Jesus. An unbreakable communion with him. No matter what we may face. Even if there’s great conflict in and around us. Jesus’s peace is real and present. Everlasting. Steadfast. It’s an emotion that happens naturally in a life properly rooted in Jesus. It’s another fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22). Going through a difficult time? May the peace of Jesus consume your heart. His presence giving your heart strength to face all things. This reality will help give you a very Merry Christmas!
