Today, I want to give you this simple but profound statement that we should remind ourselves of repeatedly.

God is in control.

Of everything. If one atom is outside his sovereign control, then every atom is outside his sovereign control.

We must discipline ourselves to continually believe and speak this truth. Every day. Every hour. Every minute.

God is in control.

No plan of God’s can be thwarted” (Job 42:2). In the mountains. In the valleys. In my times of suffering. In my times of rejoicing. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end of all (Revelation 1:8).

God is in control.

Trust him. Surrender all to him. Relax in him. Enjoy your day. Give him your stuff. Don’t worry. Be happy!

Like a child being held in his loving daddy’s arms, so is God with you. Today and forever.

God is in control.
