Davidisms - Remembering Howard - God's Perfect Plan

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die” (Ecc. 3-:1-2). My big brother Howard was born on April 17 - 4/17. And his earthly death occurred at 4:17 pm. It’s as if God was acknowledging - emphasizing even - the bookends of his life. Howard’s birth and death were in perfect symmetry, according to God’s perfect plan. God governs - with infinite wisdom and power - everything that takes place in our lives. Including both the time we are born, and the time we will die (Psalm 139:16). He did so before he created the foundations of the earth. Isn’t that amazing? We go home at the perfect time God desires. And not one minute before. My big brother Howard is at home in heaven with Jesus. He arrived there according to God’s sovereign timing. There is a time and purpose for everything under heaven. Lord Jesus, continue to grow our faith.
